December 14th, 2011

President Justin Gaskin called the meeting to order at noon at the Hub Café’. Members present were: Justin Gaskin, Jim Diehl, Elaine Buckmiller, Pam Jespersen, Susan Millard, Amy Greba, Nancy Matthews, Robert Jespersen, and Bev Rexford. Guests were: Linda Wolfskill and Dale Petersen from the Moorcroft Elementary School.

Secretary´s report was accepted as presented. Bev Rexford gave the Treasurer’s report, and that was also accepted as read by Justin Gaskin. We received a holiday card from the Moorcroft Police Department. We also received a thank-you note from Tayvin Hemphill’s family for our donation. We also received a thank-you note from Rose White. Linda Wolfskill and Dale Petersen spoke about the new middle school to be built in the near future. They have several projects going on at school for Project Base Learning. There are many committees, and they are asking for members of the community to become involved. You may get more information by stopping by or calling the Moorcroft Elementary School. Motion was made to reimburse vendors who didn’t attend the Business Expo due to the weather and seconded. There was an amendment to write a letter of thanks to all vendors and to offer $10.00 off for the 2012 Business Expo. Motion passed.

Our correspondence was read by Justin Gaskin. We received a holiday card from Moorcroft Police Department., a thank-you note from Tayvin Hemphill’s family for our donation, and a thank-you note from Rose White. A motion was made to offer free membership for one year to new businesses and change of ownership businesses within the last six months, with discretion given to the Membership Committee. Motion passed. We welcome new members. There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 1:40 P.M. Our next meeting will be held at the Hub Café’ at noon on January 11, 2012. Everyone is welcome to attend.
