January 12th, 2011

President Carla Goff called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Members present were: Carla Goff, Bev and Jim Rexford, Justin Gaskin, Kathy Werkele, Linda Keller-Decoteau, Robert Jespersen, Dana Blakeman, Susan Millard, and Stephanie Noyes. Guests present were Jamie Reynolds and Nancy Mathews. Stephanie read a thank you card from the Sharp family for the flowers that were sent for Charlotte. Bev Rexford motioned to approve the minutes, Justin Gaskin 2nd, all ayes motion carried. Treasurer report wasn’t available because the computer and check book are with Troy Petersen for the audit. Bills that were paid in December – Diehl’s Supermarket - $ 1413.50 all for Christmas baskets except 50.00 for the Capital Christmas Tree drinks, Post Office for a bulk mailing for the Senior Assisted Living Project - $ 100.39. Bills that need to be paid are: Linda for website - $ 100.00, Moorcroft Leader for advertising - $ 155.74, Kathy Werkele for Christmas basket/angel tree items - $ 626.91.

Linda gave the website updates. Ribbon cutting need to get set up for the following new business: Joyce Drane, Hub Café in February, White Buffalo has two new business’s going in, Bob McIntosh Chiropractic, Gun Smith in the Crook County Country Store and The Hair Station. Kathy gave the report on the Christmas baskets there were 27 families and 63 angels. This is down from last year but had great help from the FCCLA and Moorcroft High School Girl’s Basketball team. Robert will get with the school for the winner of the most canned goods and set up the pizza party. Nancy came later and reported that the Santa was a huge success and that next year going to need to find a different location it’s to big to hold at the VFW. Justin informed everyone that he is starting to advertise in the different magazines for the New Year.

Old Business: There was no old business to discuss.

New Business: The nominations from last meeting for the new officers are: President – Justin Gaskin, Vice-president – Susan Millard, and Secretary/treasurer – Bev Rexford. Kathy motioned to approve these nominations for the new officers, Robert 2nd, all ayes motion carried. Susan motioned to have old officers taken off all the accounts at Pinnacle Bank and assign all the new officers as the designated signers on the accounts, Kathy 2nd, all ayes motion carried. With no further business to discuss meeting was adjourned at 6:45 pm. Linda Keller - Decoteau will bring food for February 9, 2011 meeting.
