President Carla Goff called the meeting to order at 6:05 pm at the Moorcroft Town Hall. Members present were: Iris Hughes, Carla Goff, Jim and Bev Rexford, Justin Gaskin, Troy Peterson, Richard Castello, Susan Millard, Jeannie Smith, Robert Jespersen, Chad White, Monica Workman, and Linda Keller-Decoteau.

Minutes of the last meeting via email were motioned to be approved by Jim Rexford, Bev Rexford 2nd all ayes motion carried. Monica Workman gave the Treasurers report:

• Regular Checking--$8,001.26
• Christmas Checking--$3,345
• Savings--$1,103.80
• Moorcroft Bucks $87.00
• Bills: Website-$100.00, Decals $451.50, Diehl's Post Office Rent, Moorcroft Leader. Bev motioned to approve the paying of the above billes, Iris 2nd, all ayes motion carried.

  Ten sleep newsletters were passed around for all members to look at as a correspondent. Old Settlers Picnic requested donations: Iris motioned to approve a donation of $50.00, Susan 2nd, all ayes motion carried. Rhonda Smith and Bev Rexford commented on and Thanked Justin and Stephanie on all the work done at the Spring Welcoming. Chad requested a total amount paid out this year for donations. Monica will report that at the June meeting.
  
  

  Chad White gave an update on the Membership Committee. Linda gave the updates on the website and Spring Welcoming Committee. Justin Gaskin has sent an article to Sweet 16 magazine. Monica would like a Ribbon Cutting at a later date. The next committee meeting will be May 19th at 6:00 pm at Town Hall. There was a suggestion of offering new business free membership for the first year. Members please think on this more to be discussed at next meeting. Chad sent in a request for the Town of Moorcroft for $ 2000.00 for helping with advertising. Iris made a motion to approve a check to be given to Linda for the renewal of the website for $ 95.04, Jim 2nd, all ayes motion carried.
  
  

  Susan gave the update for Jubilee Committee. The Jubilee’s next meeting is May 26th at 6:30 at Dewey’s. The Citizen of the Year needs to meet and get some dates looked at for this years event. Scholarship Committee had 2 applicants for the scholarship Trinity Holland and Madison Hinkhouse. These two were awarded the Chamber Scholarships at awards night by Troy Petersen.
  
  

  I-90 Visitor Center would like someone to represent Moorcroft and possible have a booth or table for the Grand Opening on August 4th. Carla is interested in pursuing this. The Visitor Center will hold a meeting on May 18th at 11:30 am at the Wild side. Troy Petersen will bring food to the June 9th meeting. With no further business to discuss meeting was adjourned at 7:26 pm.
