Scholarship Application

Applications must be submitted to the Moorcroft High School counseling office in a folder or binder no later than April 16th. Late applications will not be accepted.

Two $500.00 Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarships will be awarded and may be used for tuition or books. There will be no personal interviews. This is a one-time scholarship. If the Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce chooses to offer this scholarship in the future, past recipients must re-apply. Once the scholarship has been awarded, it will be sent directly to the recipient upon verification that the recipient is enrolled in at least a 2-year undergraduate program. After being awarded this scholarship the recipient also agrees to attend a minimum of two Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce meetings over the next 12 months, and assist with at least one activity. (i.e. – Jubilee or Christmas Baskets) The Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce President will appoint a selection committee consisting of three Chamber of Commerce members. This committee will select the scholarship winner. Committee members may not have a relationship with any of the applicants.

Requirments

Applicant must:

  • Have attended Moorcroft High School,
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher,
  • Include a letter of reference from an educator or employer,
  • Have 24 documented volunteer community service hours in the last 12 months,
  • Be enrolled in at least a 2-year undergraduate program or be enrolled in said program for the upcoming fall semester.
