President Justin Gaskin called the meeting to order at noon at the Hub Café’. Members that were present: Justin Gaskin, Carla Goff, Susan Millard, Bill and Iris Hughes, Richard Castello, Robert Jespersen, Mary Lou Petersen, Elaine Buckmiller, Stacey Avery, Bev and Jim Rexford, and Linda Keller-Decoteau. Guest was Pam Jespersen. Correspondence was from Sarah Buer thanking the Chamber for her scholar-ship money.
Secretary and Treasurer’s reports were given. They were approved after correction to last meetings date of October 7th should have read September 7th. Iris Hughes made motion; Robert Jespersen seconded and carried to approve reports. Justin Gaskin read bills to be paid; they were approved to be paid. Linda Keller-Decoteau updated events and on the website, and is working on new pictures to appear there too.The Chamber members voted for the top three Businesses of the Year and Citizen of the year from the returned ballots. The committee will make the final decision from those votes, and will be announced at the dinner at the Hub Café’ on October 7th, 2011. There will be a social hour from 6 to 7 P.M., then dinner at 7 P.M.
Susan Millard encouraged every member to sell one book of raffle tickets before our next meeting. This is for 1000.00 cash, rifle Marlin 1895GS 45-70, and a cedar chest. The drawing will be at the Harvest Feastival held at the Fire Hall on November 19, 2011.
Elaine Buckmiller and Stacey Avery gave us an update on the Harvest Feastival, and they are working hard. They can always use help, ideas, and donations. All would be much appreciated.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1:00 P.M.
